Game 1 - Under 16

The U16 team played a very well drilled and physical Wolfpack team who are the strongest club side in the Alberta region. The boys played at 2pm which was at the hottest part of the day with temps close to 30 degrees.

MTS dominated all aspects of this game from start to finish and I'm sure the boys will be extremely proud with their performance as there opponents are right at the end of their season preparing for finals.

Harrocks, Jones and Gorman all crossed the try line throughout each of the first 3 quarters of the game. In the final quarter their opponents managed to score a well worked try leaving the final score 15-5 for a great opebing win.

Max Hodkinson James Owen playing 10 both had great games and with Harrocks and Jones in the centres we had a lot of attacking options. In the forwards Josh Gorman had a good game but special mentions must go to Charlie Harrocks, Harry May and man of the match Will Gilby who all played a minimum of 35 minutes for the U18 team followed by playing their own game straight after.

Once again all travellers played and it was great to see Sharples, Cheshire, Brown, Latham, Kehoe and Bowen all play a quarter of the game. A special mention must go to Matthew Parslew who graced the rugby field once again for first time in 2 years after suffering a knee injury.

A great performance by everyone of the Year 11 and it was great to see then get a well deserved win.
