What a fantastic experience for the boys at the Stampede today. They got the opportunity to see a wide range of cowboy competitions including the bronco competitions which was absolutely jaw dropping.
Apart from the cowboy shows the boys had the opportunity to visit the theme park on site which shadowed anything we have back in the UK.
A wide range of food outlets was once again to the boys with many sampling corn dogs and deep fried Oreos to name but a few.
After enjoying the Stampede we headed to Calgary Rugby Club to meet the boys hosts for the next 2 nights. The facilities were 1st class, they have 4 rugby pitches and a double stand in the main pitch. We got the opportunity to watch the U18s opponents train and they looked a very physical and wee drilled regional selected side.
The boys will be dropped off at the Rugby club at 10am by their hosts with the U18 side playing at 12pm and the U16s playing at 2pm tomorrow
